Find the time to write. Find the time to date. Find the time to clean. Find the time. Find the time. I don’t know about you, but there seems to be a lot of time required for all the stuff we need to do. It’s unrelenting, this “time” thing. But, as I am slowly starting to learn, there is some good news. There is an unlimited amount of time, which makes it no less precious. We have all heard the excuse about there not being enough time in the day, or hours in the week, or months in the year. Time flies – whether you’re having fun or not. But there’s always more.
We may all die eventually, but how we choose to fill the time we have – and it’s always there, never running low – is entirely up to us. We can choose to use it for whatever we want. I may still have to do the laundry, wash the dishes, and prepare for work, but I can also play with my son, read, and most importantly (and new to the rotation), I can find the time to write. And I will.
This is the first.
